Morning Commute

Now, I make the same trip to school every day. It's not as exciting as commuting by sea, but it does have its moments.

First, I pedal to the station and park my bike underground. This is my new spot!

Then, I join the gathering hordes and get on the subway. I couldn't get a picture because a weird man was in the way!

Several of us pour off the subway at the same time. People tend to get all glommed up trying to get off of the platform.
Here we all are.

After I disentangle myself from my friends, I make my way out of the station
Ah, fresh air!

The hill to school tends to be crowded, so I sneak up to the top through the back way.
Into the light!

The back way to school is much quieter.
The escalator leads through greenery.

Finally, I arrive at school!
Yay!

Then, it's time to cool off and get ready for teaching.

Wow! I never would have imagined this as your commute. I think I am stuck on my memories of downtown New York City. Is the escalator a "people mover," or does it go up hill?
