Little World

Today was a field trip to Little World with the 3rd graders. We gathered at school this morning and then headed out on big cushy buses. We did some English quizzes on the bus, and the bus attendant did some Japanese quizzes and stories. We spent the day at the park making ornaments and then the English teachers spread out around the park. Groups of roving students searched for us, asked us questions in order to guess an animal, and got stamps. The goal was to find all five of us.

My location was Italy, which was all the way at the back of the park. While I waited, I decided to visit the costume shop. Tada!
After the stamp rally, the students ate their bentos from home. It was interesting to see how carefully each lunch was packed. Then the students hit the gift shop, and we headed on home.

It was a hot day, but a lot of fun!

So fun to read about a field trip from a foreign land. We need to share this with my new class.
