The adventures continue

I can't really take too many pictures of my adventures these days without violating confidentiality. So here's a random picture of a beautiful flower from a few days (no! years! #friedbrain) ago.
If you had told me a month ago that I would be substitute teaching and liking it pretty well, I would have been a little skeptical.
(Sometimes it feels like walking on a creaky bridge. Will you safely cross? Will you tumble through?)

But what I'm finding is that the more I sub, the more I like it! It's not easy. But it's a good challenge, and I'm still learning tons.

(Pro tip - start the coffee first thing. You may have to fly out the door to go to school at a moment's notice)

I was worried that I would just kind of float between terms in Japan and not learn a lot, but this time in Mississippi has turned out to be adventure-filled!

And there are still 6 weeks left!

Can't wait to see what's still coming in these #104days of adventure!

The creaky-bridge analogy is great. Subbing is tremendously challenging and never gets easy...but it IS rewarding.
