Subway living and Sunday rest

So, it's been a while since I had something to post. My usual days are not so photogenic. I spend a lot of time either underground or at school.
Here's an entrance to the deep, dark tunnels beneath the earth

Well, I'm happy to tell you that the blossoms are starting and spring is near! It's been a long and cold winter, but not cold enough for all the snow flurries to stick. But yesterday and today were not painfully cold, and so now I have some blossoms to show you! The ume and peach trees are blooming now, and sakura will come at the end of this month. Yay yay yay.
Just a mass of blossoms in the winter sky.
 And one lovely branch

In January, I started re-reading all the Chronicles of Narnia. They were so delightful that I took lots of breaks. I had never read them all that close together before.

Needless to say, I'm longing for Aslan's Country.

Blossoms are a lovely taste of renewal ahead, I think.

Here's Jane, my blossom hunting buddy and coworker!
Well, back to my underground life tomorrow! But good things are here, and good things are coming!

So good to see this issue of your fantastic blog. So, are the pink blossoms your favorite or the white??? Just love the couple pictures that shout "Japan!" Thanks so much for sharing your blossoms with the world. I am not sure that I have read all the Chronicles. Are there 6 or 7 books?
