Autumn walks

Autumn is nearly over in Nagoya. Actually, I didn't realize that it was still so gorgeous until I got out today. Here's my day in reverse.

I walked 20,000 steps today, so I treated myself to a cake. Here it is. No, it's not a giant coffee. It's a normal coffee and a teeny tiny cake. No need to feel guilty for that! Hahaha!

This bridge with leaves and sunlight made me really happy. I had to wait for cars to get off it, thougg.

Here's Inuyama Castle - I've definitely photographed it a lot. But it always looks so cool standing up there on the hill.

This is one of my favorite rock formations.

Hello, beautiful tree!

Many of my 20,000 steps were up a mountain. Well, maybe a hill. But a really big hill!

The stairs heading up.

Me with some leaves! I was actually not planning on going for a mega walk in Inuyama when I left the house this morning. But I'm glad I went!

Light through leaves

Leaves and bamboo!

My phone missed the varied colors all over this hill - so pretty in real life. Pretty in a picture, but for different reasons!

Same here! I really loved seeing the shadows and light on the hills across the river - so beautiful!

Before I left this morning, I thought this was it for the leaves. Nope!

So glad I checked and found this entry! Wow! The shades of gold are glorious. You look so serene and beautiful, Liz. 20,000 steps????????? Isn't that 8 miles???????
