Wow, we are nearly to 1000 posts here at Futons, Fish, and Ferries! That's pretty exciting! I had forgotten how close things were when I went on accidental hiatus. Oops!

Well, I'm trying to just kind of restart with where things are now. I might go back later and catch up on a few things (but that's how these accidental hiatuses start).

I've been sick recently, so I haven't been up to much besides binge-watching TV on the floor of my LeoPalace. I lead an exciting life, don't I? Let's check my camera roll and see what's been going on.

In this picture, we see that Harry brought us some cookies as omiyage from his trip to Mt. Fuji. At least some of us are leading exciting lives! :)

No, I did not go on a coffee binge! Harry, Tara, and I dropped by Starbucks after work one night. I had one of the drinks with whipped cream and brownie pieces on top. I have no excuse.

Here's a quick view of the very very very very long walk home.

Why is this in here? Yes, one of my classes is bringing in 30 letters for me to mark on my birthday. I told them that a good letter would be an excellent birthday present. It's pretty sad that this is true!

Not sure why azaleas are still blooming, but I'll take it!

I got a little turned around on my way home last night. Luckily, I landed in a coffee shop!

And, my commute this morning. I was eventually one of the people walking across the bridge. But I wasn't fast enough to get in the picture! Heeheehee.
Well, the rain is falling now, and it's time for me to get some sleep. June usually means the rainy season in Japan (not in Hokkaido - sob), so please expect lots of pix with gray skies. Maybe we'll get lucky and have some nice days! We shall see what lies ahead!
