Well, it was a busy last day here in Machida.
Hey! It's not your turn yet, beach!
Anyway. Today was bag pickup day, so lots of cleaning happened while I waited. Lots of loafing too, but don't tell anyone.
My bags finally left, and I flew out the door to my dental appointment. They put me in the Snow White room, so I had a little entertainment while people were poking around at my teeth.
Today was also my day to transfer my yen to dollars, thanks to a delightful snarl of problems. The exchange rate wasn't as bad as the last time, so that was nice. Unfortunately, I got a little overzealous with the transferring, so I may be a little broke when I come back. Oh, well!
Came home for some more cleaning and ran into my neighbor Sharon. She's a lot of fun and I'm going to miss her. I'll miss lots of people. But I won't miss the commuter trains. I NEED A BREAK FROM THOSE THINGS!
Around 3, I asked myself why I was home and not at the beach. I didn't have a good answer, so I headed off for the sunset. It was beautiful. Fuji was wearing a big clou hat, but it was still lovely and I was glad I went.
