Another bizarrely wonderful day

Today was a weird and wonderful day.

I joined up with a ton of other teachers from different campuses in Nagoya.

Here we are!
Oh, what a lovely room!

Hey, what's going on?

Hide!

What's going on, you ask? Well, we all went to a disaster prevention center for training. This room shook to simulate an earthquake, and we had to hide under the table. It was rather violent, and I worried that I was going to knock heads with my fellow teachers.

Another training exercise was for fire. We had to go through a dark and smoky fire maze that had locked doors and tricky turns. My group was the first to go through, and we all just hung on to each other for dear life!

We also learned about tsunamis, typhoons, and the rainy season. It was quite educational.

Finally, we got to dress up for our new jobs! OK, maybe not!

Looks like you had a fun time! How badly did the room shake?
