Clearly, I'm quite eloquent at 4:05.
I packed everything the night before, so it wasn't too much trouble to get out the door at 4:45.
Although it was freezing, I decided to walk the 2.5 miles to the ferry terminal. I put some good music on, and set off across town.
The morning was not only freezing, but cloudy. I really hoped I'd be able to get a spot on the ferry!
Isn't it cheery! They start serving food at 6:30, but I was long gone by then.
I made it to the ferry terminal and stopped at the Meguriai branch for a cup of coffee. It looked so pretty under a light!
Today's ferry had plenty of room for everyone! Oh, happy me! And, I ran into one of my coworkers. It was her first visit to Rebun.
The first half of the trip was pretty rough, so I just tried to take a nap. I like listening to podcasts on ferry trips when I can't read, so I did that, too.
At school today, I got to visit all the classes, which I enjoyed. I wish I could talk more about school! We had fun with trivia, clues, and tongue twisters. I have a really hard time smoothly saying, "I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch."
Checked into Pension Uni this evening and was excited to get my beloved room with a bay window that looks toward the sea.
Since I finished work, I've just been relaxing, watching sumo on TV, reading, and writing. It's nice to be in my cute room with the heat blasting.
A little later, I'll meet some teachers for dinner, but I'm going to go ahead and post this blog now!
