Hello from Sapporo


We arrived in Sapporo late this evening after a 5+ hour bus ride. 

The bus didn't leave until 4:40, so I took the day as a holiday and enjoyed Wakkanai. The weather in Wakkanai was stunningly beautiful. It was warm! The sun shone! The wind was gentle!

So, I had a picnic in the yard. 

I also went to the gym
So excited to fly out in the morning!

A Japanese bus ticket is exciting--promises of adventures yet to come. Of course, the striped picnic blanket is another adventure---and it was only the first of May!
