February is one of my favorite months in Hokkaido. There are an insane number of fun events happening all through the month. The month kicked off with the opening of Snow Land at Fureai Park.
At Snow Land, you can do cross country skiing, snow rafting (above), snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tubing, ice sliding, and something that looks like a snow hay ride with no hay. Things that take gasoline cost, but things that don't are free.
In honor of opening day, all events were free! My friend and I went out around 11:00, and we stayed until about 3:30 or so. We tried everything except tubing and the ice slide. Actually, we went snowmobiling more than once. More than twice, even. Here we are - two speedsters. Lol.
