A little pre-race treat

Someone's going to be rolling me to the starting line after tonight's delicious dinner. It was a teriyaki chicken pizza, which to be honest I thought sounded a little bit disgusting. But it was amazing! Then, someone in my household (I'm not naming any names) bought an ice cream sandwich made with two small pancakes. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that's not the intention of carboloading.

Oh, I have to tell you about a beautiful English fail today.\(^o^)/I was preparing for the class with me teacher, and the subject was natural disasters. (ha ha, dictation seems to be a pirate). Anyway, we were talking about tsunamis and I said that before I came to Japan I had a dream about being in a tsunami. It was actually a nightmare. My teacher looked a little puzzled, and so we went on with preparation. A few minutes later, realization suddenly hit. I asked him if he knew what I meant when I said I had a dream. You can probably see where this is going. Yes, he thought that I meant that I wanted to be in a tsunami. I hope I was able to set him straight, but I'm not 100% sure.

English is fun!

Pizza looks yummy. How challenging to need to use words with multiple meanings and not even know if someone understood you wrongly. It would be especially hard in a sensitive subject or one in which you would inadvertently hurt someone's feelings.
