Really, this whole weekend has been lovely. I've been able to talk with family and friends, some in person and some through the miracle that is the Internet. And I got so much encouragement from family, friends, books, and church. I needed all of it!
Today, I went to the aquarium and science museum with some people from church. It was so much fun! I think I had more fun at the science museum than most kids would have. There was an interesting booth that would flash, and leave your shadow behind like a picture for several seconds. There were also neat contraptions that would make music when you walked through them or on them. Oh, and a laser that you could use to shoot a distant machine on the ceiling. Anyway, I had a great time.
The aquarium was fun, too. There were some fish that would nibble on your hand when you put it in the tank. I thought that was sort of gross. But there were many fish in so many colors. It was kind of cool to think about God creating so much diversity for an underwater world.
We also got to see a brief seal show. Squee! It was SO cute! So cute! The seals were so excited for fish that one tried to do a trick totally out of turn, and one kept pawing at the trainer's pants.
Anyway, it was a good day, and I'm looking forward to going back to school tomorrow. Between seminars and long weekends, it's been a long time since I set foot in a classroom.
I hope you all have joy-filled weeks!

The fish pics are good--kinda creepy seeing them nibble on someone's arm. Is that YOUR arm?
Great attitude about school. I have been feeling the same way.
Love you and miss you but KNOW you are where your Father wants you.
