Goodbyes

CIMG3014

This is a reminder to me about things to look forward to during the upcoming year.

I’m ever so slightly morose about saying goodbye to my people. OK, maybe ever so hugely morose. But intellectually, I know that good things are ahead. Still not easy.

One thing I have to look forward to are fields and fields of daisies. Can’t complain about that at all! I love seeing daisies growing all over everything.

I have had an amazing time in the US these 3+ weeks. I’ve loved being with my family – both home and away. I’ve loved seeing my dear friends – both the ones in town and one far away. I’ve loved the weather, delicious food, shopping, reading Randy Alcorn, visiting Mom’s classroom, seeing my old workplace, and going to the dentist (guess which one of those is a lie). It’s funny – I feel like I‘ve been here for so long.

Well, I have to go to bed before I get n trouble!

Your time home this year was tremendous. It really seemed like a long time--in a completely good way! And even the dentist visit was a big blessing in disguise.

The daisies are phenomenal. Do they grow naturally or were they planted?
