Update

I did it! I hooked two scallops! Here is my bounty cooking.

Yes, I felt a little mighty hunter-ish.

They are so beautiful. I have always loved those shells. Even though my brain knew there had been something living in the shell, I never really realized it until now--when I saw those shells on a stove being cooked! Not sure how I feel about that! :)

So, inside each shell, is there ONE blob of scallop??? If so, do you have 2 bites of food cooking there? How many shells would constitute a meal?????
