God and iPods

Happy Resurrection Sunday! I had a lovely day today. I went to church, rested a good bit, and played the fire out of my ukulele. I even learned to play Amazing Grace! Not gonna lie, it was really exciting. But boy, do the fingers of my left hand ache. It kind of hurts to type. Oh, well.

So, this evening, I was walking through town in the chilly evening. Now, even though it was a good day, I started thinking about some random things and started feeling a little sad.

Then, as I was walking along, this song came up on my iPod. Thanks, God!

Not all of it is applicable to how I was feeling, but it was a great reminder. I suppose if God could talk through a donkey, using an iPod isn't all that difficult for Him.

Lyrics are below the video - you may or may not be able to watch the video here, it might make you go to YouTube. But you don't have to go if you don't want to!

It's been so long since
You felt like you were loved
So what went wrong
But do you know
There's a place where you belong
Here in My Arms

Chorus:
When you feel like you're alone in your sadness
It seems like no one else in this whole world cares
And you want to get away from the madness
You just call My name and I'll be there
You just call My name and I'll be there

The pain inside
Has erased your hope for love
Soon you will find
That I'll give you all
That your heart could ever want
And so much more
[Call My Name Lyrics On http://www.elyricsworld.com/ ]
Chorus:
When you feel like you're alone in your sadness
It seems like no one else in this whole world cares
And you want to get away from the madness
You just call My name and I'll be there
You just call My name and I'll be there

You just call My name
You just call My name
Call My name say it now
I want you to never doubt
The love I have for you is so alive
Call My name say it now
I want you to never doubt
The love I have for you is so alive

You just call My name
You just call My name
You just call My name

The love I have for you is so alive
The love I have for you is so alive
You just call My name
You just call My name
You just call My name

Happy Resurrection Sunday! He is risen!

Thanks for sharing the song and your heart. Our Father always knows just what we need...and if it takes an IPOD to get the message across, He will use it!

I am so eager to hear more of you and your uke. Can you record Amazing Grace (WITH your lovely voice)and put it on here???
