Sorry I've been away for a while. It's hard to know what to write at times like this. Absolutely nothing seems appropriate.

To put anyone's mind at ease, I'm about as out of danger as one can be. The northern hinterlands may be cold and windy, but we are safely nestled into a pretty secure location. We are nowhere near any of the disaster zones. The biggest danger is an icicle falling on someone's head.
