Why I love October

The weather this month has just been utterly fantastic.

Although the sun has been going down earlier and earlier,

I’ve tried to get up earlier to enjoy it on the other end of the day. Sometimes, the early waking is not by choice, though

The ferry waits for no man or woman

Plus, things like this are waiting!

While I’m not sure that I’m ready for everything that comes after October – more darkness, bone chilling cold, ice, etc – I know that great things are coming as well…

Mama, Dad, Bro, Sis, Neph, Friends...I’m comin’ home!
