"I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!"
This was running through my head as I attempted to bike to church wearing a long skirt today. It did not work out well. It looked so easy in the Wizard of Oz, but in real life, I had to contend with my skirt trying to head north the whole ride. I thought ladies' bikes were designed so that you could ride in a skirt.
Come to think of it, it may have been the wind. I am beginning to have strong feelings of dislike towards the wind. When I try to bike against the wind (and it always seems that whichever way I go is against the wind), it absolutely takes my breath away. And I don't mean in the fun way. It feels like it sweeps into me and pulls out the air I'm trying to breath. Grrrr.
Aaaaaaaaand, it almost ate my artwork!!!
I need to do some research on the wind and see what the point of it is, besides torturing amateur artists on bicycles. Then, maybe I can feel some benevolence toward it.
Well, strong wind seems to be a good excuse not to torture myself on a diet - I need everything I've got to remain earthbound!
Er...just Googled it and went to WikiAnswers. Somehow, I got a whole answer about the book of Revelation and the Apocalypse. Um...thanks? Let's try again.
What? Huh? Oh, sorry! I must have drifted off for a minute there. Now, what was I doing? Oh, yes, reading the Wikipedia article about wind. Hmmzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-z-z-z-z-z-z-z.
Well, as scintillating as that was, I think I'd rather go read one of my books!
