As of today, I've been in Japan for two months! In some ways, it feels like it has been so much longer - perhaps because the summer ended so much earlier.
I just got back from a week-long seminar, so I'm not going to write much this evening. I just wanted to post in honor of the day!

Please remind me of the town you went to for the seminar. I know you said it is a small train ride from Sapporo(sp?).
What was the purpose of the seminar? your duties? any free time? any socializing? stressful or non?
Love you, brave girl!
Hardest thing for me is knowingn so little of what you do each day--I can't imagine much. What everything sounds like with a different language surrounding you. .. what your work days are like. (I had only those two days with your mom in her classroom----and I have no idea what your teaching is like. and sooooo many different schools. how do you, and they, remember what's going on, with so much space/time between your visits????
love you, sweetie.
